I saw a very, very unattractive woman who gave off the vibe of "I'm on welfare because I'm a lazy drain on society!!" wearing a t-shirt that said "Too pretty to work".
I couldn't decide if I want to upchuck, cry, or laugh.

(No, I don't think all people on welfare are lazy, in case anyone gets the wrong idea about what I just said. I know most people on welfare are in their situation of no real fault of their own and are working to get out of it.)

I've got two drawers full of weird t-shirts that I wear to my job, and it's to the point that the outgoing shift supervisors won't leave until they've read what's on my shirt that day.

        Current favorites:

"What a horrible night to have a curse."

"You and your friends are dead. Game over."

A shirt with a big drawing of a Weighted Companion Cube on the front and "The cake is a lie." scrawled a dozen times on the back

A shirt from the Los Angeles County Office of the Coroner with the official seal on the front and an outline of a body on the back.
Drive it like it's a county car.

How many is depressing? One (Smiley) or lots?
The most depressing one was a complete stranger who walked up to me in a grocery store. He was either quite serious about reassuring me, or the best actor I've ever met.

            My favourite T-Shirts are:

            "I Make Stuff Up"

            and

            "Chaos
            Panic
            Disorder -
            My work here is done"

I do a lot of tech support, so both of those just, well, work.

Heh. The only reason I know those quotes is because of the Angry Video Game Nerd. Castlevania II, and Friday the 13th. I'm quite impressed, and fully agree I'd stick around until reading your shirts too!

I must admit I'm a big fan of the amusing t-shirt and have a rather large collection.

I just wish I worked somewhere that would allow me to wear the one that says "I'm not paid enough to be nice to you" t-shirt

Not a fan of the "random insult" t shirt type. They don't make any sense. I don't care how witty a put down is, it's only funny in context and aimed at a specific target. And the front of some stranger's shirt is not context, nor does it target the barb. Just kind of pointless.

I love the Castlevania shirt! I'm a big fan of all the old school gaming shirts.

I had a guy come into my store some time ago wearing a shirt that read:

"Let's play army: I'll lie down and you blow the shit out of me"

                    I laughed all day.

I have a few fun shirts in my arsenal.

There's the one with a pair of 20-sided dice showing 20s on both, with the legend, "Yes, they're natural" on it

Then there's the one that says "Schroedinger's cat is dead" on the front and "Schroedinger's cat is not dead" on the back.

Another has a yin/yang symbol on the front with a ninja and a pirate and says "Yin-Yarr." The back says, "Follow the tao or ye walk the plank."

For just image shirts, I've got my Totoro shirt on today, another one says "OMG Pwnies!" with FPS MLPs on it, another has a picture of ZigZag (character by Max Blackrabbit) grabbing a guy by the lapels and says "Rowr" at the bottom, and my favorite, a pretty image of five different types of unicorns on it.

I got sent home in high school for wearing one of my mom's New Orleans shirts. It said "Shuck me, Suck me, Eat me raw!" and had pictures of oysters on it.

The only shirt I won't let go out of the house on anyone is the hubby's one that says "Remember my name, you'll be screaming it later." Yeah.

my youngest half sister has that shirt.

                          My favorites have been:

a yellow shirt (relegated to "keepsake, but not to be worn") that states "Sachs Harbour Institute of Technology" and in the center was "SHIT"

I have a racing shirt that has a pair of kumquats on it saying "Ya Gotta Have Big Ones"

Theres also my Star Wars t-shirt: "You don't need to look at my chest. These are not the breasts you're looking for. Move along."

My brother has two: one is a megatokyo shirt that has a pic of one of the characters on the front, and on the back it says "j00 fool". He also has a Mario shirt with Boo on the front covering it's eyes, and on the back, making a face.

I also have another one that has Cowthulu on it.

ETA: I forgot this one, and its my favorite. Now, my stepfather is a blonde, bearded bike-riding Viking... who drives a Smart car. That said, he recently came to own a t-shirt that has offended a great many people, and well, he doesn't really care, since he IS a Viking, and therefore when needing to pray to a deity, he prays to Thor. ANYhoo, his t-shirt reads as follows:

"My God carries a hammer. Your God died nailed to a cross. Any questions?"

The t shirt has a picture of Thor's hammer and a lightning bolt on it. I like to look at it humourously
