I always hear tech support stories about people storing documents in the computer trashcan or recycle bin, and throwing a hissy when they lose those documents.

I didn't realise people did the same thing with real trashcans.

      Update:

My coworker found out that her rings were NOT in the box that got thrown away. She did so by going to the store and asking them point blank.

The disturbing thing is, the employee denied any knowledge of this happening and asked her where she had heard such a rumor! She reminded them that she worked in the office and had been the one who answered the phone when their manager told her they had thrown away the jewelry! The employee really did not know what to say after this! And as it turned-out, this was also the employee that had done it!

Priceless! Nothing like being caught out when
Any day you're looking down at the dirt instead of up at the dirt is a good day.

Make my own jewelry, repair others' jewelry. Mine doesn't break (yet). Chainmaille, anyone?

Would you like aluminum, steel, copper, brass or copper-coated steel? I don't deal with that sissy silver and gold crap unless the customer buys it outright.

And its not that hard to learn how to make your own....

All about the anodized titanium rings.

We need a welding rig, 3/4" is only costume weight if it's not welded, and belts are a joke.

It's best to keep this discussion to the topic of "making your own", since CS.com does not allow posts involving commercial interest.

                  Thanks.

                    We need a post-compactor clean-up update.

Let me guess, this employee is there just long enough to crawl though the compactor themselves. When that's done - they're fired?

I had a chainmaille jewelry set. But I'm really rough on my stuff, and managed to tear the ring part off of the bracelet section.
