Anyway, I liked it and still do.
to me that's all that matters.

and to be honest, i'm of a similar mindset when it comes to the actual wedding rings. no diamonds or inlayed anything - just a simple perfect circle

My man and I picked out my engagement ring together. Gold with a middle diamond and three diamonds on each side in a heart shape. It was very pretty, I say"was" because I was having problems with my fingers swelling so I put the ring on my pinkie one night at work and it fell off (I work in a resaurant), I did not realize it until I had left for the night and the floors had already been swept and mopped. I was devastated to say the least! My man, the sweet guy he is, purchased a new ring for me later on. It was not the same style but he bought a Black Hills Gold ring from Stampers with three diamonds in a row and the classic Black Hills Gold designs. I love this one also, but I love everything that is Black Hills Gold !

I just went poking through their website, and saw a rose ring with the reaction "OH! I want THAT ONE!".

Like 82 dollars. XD I'm easy to please.

You could also try Landstroms and Colemans...of course if you lived here you could get jewelry pretty cheap..I worked at Colemans as a tacker many moons ago and the employees recieved a 75 percent discount. That was awesome!!

Exactly! My engagement ring came from a pawn shop, at my recommendation. I'd rather have the money for other things, and it came from my sweetheart, so it's just as special as it would be if "he went to Jared".
My most prized piece of jewelry came from a pawn shop. I've never seen anything like it.
