I'm looking at the menu online right now and I think she was probably just asking him if it came with any sides because it doesn't specify. And since he'd been there for months, he really should know what's on the menu by now, even if a customer does ask a dumb question it doesn't give us the excuse to be short or rude. Also I made the mistake of asking for "Baked Chicken Florentine" and he said that I had to specify whether I wanted just the Florentine or the cannelloni because there's a huge difference. There is no option on the menu for just Florentine.

Was talking with someone at work today and learned that when he complained to COL about the first time he got sent home, it was because he said, loud enough for a customer to hear, apparently, that "People shouldn't bring kids to restaurants!" I figure he must have gotten miffed because one girl showed up with her baby who was decidedly very, very unhappy about being there. She did have her friend take him home once it was clear he wasn't going to be good, to her credit. And one of our Pharmacists showed up with his older son, around two or three years old, who turned out to be very well behaved. I guess waiter might have seen the kids and a fuse went off? I dunno.
The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.
