i order diet when i go out - although i don't go to mcdonald's - so when I order my soda i usually just say "diet" cos i don't care if it's coke or pepsi. unless they have diet dr pepper.... then i'll care

At least around here, Arbys carries Diet Dr. Pepper as a fountain beverage, as does Jason's Deli. Outside of the restaurant world, it is a fountain option at most Speedway gas stations.

I understand that. I've lost count of the times I've been buying something at work and having to be reminded to press a button on the credit card machine (I usually pay with my debit card), when I'm constantly prompting people when behind the register.
