I think I have kept my tongue well bitten over the years (although I have noticed it's attempt to wriggle free in recent times), but I swear, if a customer came up to me and complained about the fact that on our poster there was a white model, I know the first words out of my mouth would be "You have GOT to be kidding me!"

Shortly after I left high school, one of the (black) teachers stood up in an all school meeting and said the black people couldn't be racist. I wish I'd been there so I could point out the irony of her statement.

There are a number of sociologists who say this with a straight face.

I took a course in college, part of Brooklyn College's "core curriculum", entitled "People, Power and Politics". This one was coadministered by the Poli-Sci and Sociology departments, and depending on which department your particular professor belonged to, you might wind up with a somewhat different course than another section. I don't recall which one we had, but one of the texts she required us to read included a statement to the effect of, racism by definition is directed by an oppressing majority toward an oppressed minority; otherwise you can't use that term, and have to find some other name for racially-based prejudice. (Say, how about calling it "racially-based prejudice"?)

I personally thought that was so much horse puckey, but I dutifully regurgitated it on the final exam and got an A.

Here's what thefreedictionary.com has to say about the word "racism":

1. The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.
2. Discrimination or prejudice based on race.

Doesn't say anything about majority vs minority, etc. But frankly, I think the pizza lady was CRAZY. Racism exists, yes, but a white lady (who happens to be the founder of the company) on a pizza box is NOT an example of it. And the box is "unpatriotic" too, because we have a black president? WTF?
