Spoiled Rich Girl Hates Puppies

I'm on vacation right now and took my 6 month old German Shepard puppy down to the docks to come fishing with me. It's a private lake so pets ARE allowed, and he loves to play in the water and watch me fish.
He can be naughty at times, but he is amazingly calm and well behaved for a puppy. People always comment on how "unpuppy-like" he acts. I always get asked, "Is he REALLY a puppy".
Anywho, there I was fishing on the dock with my puppy laying down a few feet away, watching my bobber. Just then, a spoiled little rich girl who looked about 16-17 years old rode up in a golf cart with her daddy. A living, breathing stereotype... She looked in my direction, got a repulsed look on her face and said, "Daddy, I CAN'T fish here. There's a DOG here. Take me to the OTHER docks!!"!
I would have thought she was just scared of dogs if not fer her disgusted, snobby tone of voice. She seemed offended at the mere idea of someone having the GALL to bring a DOG to the lake!

The "evil" and "nasty" dog:

If she was allergic to or scared of dogs, she wouldn't have had the repulsed look and snobby voice tone.

At least she moved on, so you didn't have to listen to her whining and bitching about the nasty bait, and the slimy fish, and the dirt and water and insects, etc, etc., ad nauseum.

I gave him lots of hugs and kisses and praise for driving her ladyship to the other side of the lake. I would have gone mad listening to her squeal over the slimy fish, whine about the gooey worms, and complain about the sun in her eyes. I bet she would have made daddy dearest do all the work

I, on the other hand, bait my own hooks, handle the fish, prepare my own bait, cast my own line and catch my own fish. I'm damn good at it too (not trying to brag, but I've been fishing since age 5 so I have developed skill and know how)

I used to fish with my dad also ... I still have the first fishing pole he gave me =)
