Anyways I was saying I don't understand why it's just so common practice like it's hard wired through generations of many people around the world. Then they want to say "I need to lose weight". Yea that and you need to stop eating big portions. I can see why the French have such smaller plates and smaller portions. Their portions look a little to small for me but yea.

That's because we're in such a hurryhurryhurry mindset in this country. If you watch, most people tend to bolt their food. And it takes a while for your stomach to get the message up to your brain that it's had enough. Now you watch the French and they sit and take their time and have actual conversations, too.

I've always eaten like that. I was not born a fast eater. Plus, how the hell do you enjoy what you're eating if you're shoving it down that fast anyway?

Well, on occasion, if I'm really super hungry, it's kind of like I've got the flip-top head from the Reach commercials and I cram it down my throat in record time. But that don't happen very often.
