Heh. It's actually my understanding that his similarity to The Doctor (two different ones depending on which version you mean) - much like Ditzy's (aka Derpy's) prevalence -- is actually a complete coincidence. Not sure what his real name is.

I would not put it past them, though. The amount of "no way in hell the kids will catch this reference" stuff in that show is overwhelming at times. I mean, a freaking Benny Hill chase sequence of all things, including the music? o_O
I'm pretty sure it's common for children's animated shows to throw in the kind of sly reference that the parents/older viewers would get.

And yeah, I know that Doctor Whooves is a sort of meme with the show (like Ditzy/Derpy, and just about anything Pinkie does), but still.

People that think this make me laugh, the mayans didn't predict jack shit, it's just that the years ontheir calender are cyclical, so yes, the mayan calendar isn't literally ending in 2012, it's just going back to the start of a new cycle.
Thank you! It's just their calendar resetting. Just like the currently in-use Gregorian calendar resets every 365 (sometimes 366) days.

      Sorry. Technically, I'm crazy.
I look at it this way. We're all, in our unique ways, crazy. We're all, to some degree, nuts. What the hell is "normal" and wouldn't it be a boring world if we all were? Some of us spin different.

That's why one of my favorite sayings is, "I may be crazy, but I'm not stupid."

The British Royal Family aren't the Antichrist or lizard aliens.

They are, however, carriers of werewolf blood.

That's what Doctor Who taught me.

...don't look at me like that.
I thought everybody knew about Queen Victoria founding the Torchwood Institute? Although she was completely off-base thinking that the Doctor was/is an enemy of the Crown.

This is very similar to some of GK's posts. Except in there I think the caller said Prince Charles was the Anti Christ.
Wouldn't that make Wills the son of the Anti-Christ then?

Hadn't heard of that one. I've heard of Abe Lincoln: Vampire Slayer, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and Sense and Sensabilities and Sea Monsters though.

Apologies. I didn't mean to lump in regular crazy people (such as you, your wife and my best friend) with what I consider to be the truely crazy, ie the tinfoil-hat, doomsday, random-nonsense-conspiracy folk such as this guy and GK's Uncle Vick.
I look at it this way: there are people with mental health issues (such as several of you as well as my wife) and there are people who are just fuckin' nuts. (Unfortunately, the word "crazy" applies to both situations.)

This person was plainly "fuckin' nuts."

The only one of those I have read is Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter. It is a very good book. I recently ordered Robin Hood and Friar Tuck: Zombie Killers - A Canterbury Tale, which is written in the style of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales.
