Okay, so I'm pretty sure everyone gets where I'm talking about. It practically is its own little city down there too.
This story comes to me second-hand from a friend who works there who heard it from his boss, who was the one who witnessed this.
At the World of Mouse, people are full of wonder and merriment, and the magic sometimes affects their judgement. The World of Mouse is in Florida, and in Florida, we have these lovely things known as alligators.
Sometimes alligators like to get some sun, and at times, they can be found inside some of the parks at World of Mouse. World of Mouse also has photo people, who you can ask to take a picture of you if you want.
I hope you can see where this is going.
A lovely married couple and their two year old child spot one of these sunning alligators, and they get the bright idea that since this is the World of Mouse, it must be a part of the park! Obviously it's safe!
So they go up and place their two year old child on the back of the alligator, thinking that this would be an awesome picture. It's around this time that the photo person arrives and immediately she starts to try to get the parents to get their baby off the back.
Parents: "Don't worry, it's a [World of Mouse] alligator, she'll be fine! Take the picture!"
Photo person: "That is a wild animal, get the kid off its back before they get hurt!"
Parents: "Take the picture!"
So, this exchange escalates slightly and the photo person calls her manager to come over. All the while the kid is still on the gator's back.
Eventually the manager manages to convince the parents to get the kid off the back, and by some miracle, the gator decided to ignore it in favor of sunning itself. As I hear, the parents complained that the photo person wouldn't take their kid's picture while the kid was on the gator's back.
