I quite enjoy an occasional glass of Dihydrogen monoxide myself
I much prefer their diet version, Hydrogen Hydroxide.

Rich people don't pay annual fees on credit cards.
True. But they do pay annual fees on Charge Cards. Which are different in that a charge card is required to be paid in full when you get the bill. a credit card gives you the option to make payments in which case you pay interest on the total balance.
For 500 dollars annual fee, was the rate 2% with no late fees? To be honest, with the amount I'd put on my card, I'd still end up paying more with a low interest rate and that high annual fee.
It may be worth it to someone who travels a lot. I mean they are traveling about 3 times a month every month for business via airplane. The 1% really should be frequent flyers.

You know, I pay in full every month so I honestly didn't think of that aspect. But I'm afraid the interest rate was pretty high (13% or so) and it had plenty-o-fees $35 per late payment, over the limit, etc. Plus they raise your interest rate too if you're late or go over you limit.
Just a bad deal all around. If you travel a lot I think a miles card from your airline of choice would be a better deal. Same terms and priveleges but no annual fee.
