Just mentioned this to my husband, who works at Kroger. He said they have that stuff in already, too. Bah Humbug.

I have a friend that will only buy those too.Quoth mikoyan29It's never too early for those peanut butter eggs either. I don't know what it is about those but I like them better than the regular peanut butter cups...Driver Picks the Music, Shotgun Shuts His Cakehole.

My fabric store's doing the same thing. We've still got a ton of Christmas & Hanukkah themed fabrics, but we also now have Valentines, St. Patrick's, Easter and 4th of July fabrics right next to them.Quoth Pagan View PostI noticed the other day that Hobby Lobby was condensing all the Christmas stuff and setting the Spring stuff.I don't have an attitude problem. You have a perception problem.

The favorite of my wife and I was for M&Ms from the 80's, where the two little girls would end the commercial with, "t'anks East' bunny.. BOK BOK!"Quoth Catwoman2965 View Postthat means my favorite commercial might show up soon. The Cadbury bunny auditions, where all the animals make the "bawk bawk" noise...cracks me up every time!

I can see the logic in stores like Hobby Lobby getting rid of the Christmas stuff and starting to put out stuff for Valentine's Day, etc. Any place where you buy stuff to decorate, usually if you're going to do it you do it early. I bought a couple of Christmas decos today (only because I've been a real Scrooge this year and haven't done much at all) and thought, by this time next week, Christmas will be nearly over already.
That said, I do think it's a bit early for the Cadbury eggs...much as I love them. And I love that "auditions" commercial too...the lion is hilarious

I have a plush Cadbury bunny that clucks when you squeeze its paw. I don't remember when I got it, only that it was long before Cadbury was swallowed up by Hershey over here.Quoth Catwoman2965 View Postthat means my favorite commercial might show up soon. After god-knows-how-long in storage, the silly thing still works. It's going to be a sad day in this house when its battery dies (I don't think it was designed to be replaced).
A few years ago I ran across dark chocolate Cadbury mini eggs. Those things were truly drool-worthy; I have not seen them at all in recent years.Quoth Pagan View PostI love the mini-eggs, too. The solid chocolate ones.Last edited by Dreamstalker; 12-19-2011, 01:52 PM."I am quite confident that I do exist."

Honestly, I'd love it if those were available all year. But, it's probably a good thing that they're not....Quoth BeenThereDoneThat View PostThat said, I do think it's a bit early for the Cadbury eggs...much as I love them. And I love that "auditions" commercial too...the lion is hilarious
