Yesterday was my oldest sons Christmas...excuse me...Winter party where they got to wear their PJ's to school and they watched Polar Express and partied. I did not want to waste gas going to get him after the party was over but he did not want to stay the rest of the school day and just sit there when he knew everyone else was going to be picked up after the party, lol. My neighbor that has kids that go to his school saw me with the younger two kids playing outside when she was leaving to get her kids and asked if I was picking him up and I told her no, that he was riding the bus. She offered to pick him up and since we are on each others kids emergency pick up list and she can get him with no problems I said sure. Anyway she decided since her kids were screaming for McDonalds even though they had been eating junk food all day she would take them, and take Seth as well since he was with them. She told me evidently all the other parents had the same idea
So of course they were packed which was no problem for her, she is a dream customer. She doesn't mind to wait, she doesn't mind if she gets a wrong order and has to wait to get it fixed, she doesn't get upset at anything and realizes retail and restaurant workers are human. So she is patiently waiting in line with her 3 kids and my son. She said she could not believe the amount of people that were loudly and rudely complaining about the wait time or a mistake with the order. She said that the line was literally out the door and the drive through was backed out into the road. She gets up to the front, orders, waits, and gets the food. I don't know if every McDonalds does this now or just this one because we have not been to McDonalds in a long time but the happy meals had a very small box with fries and then a bag of sliced apples. She said it looked like about half the amount of fries in the little box so they were cutting out some of the "bad" food and adding some apples. My son won't eat apples, he has a texture issue with them but he just put them to the side and one of her kids ate them. Like a normal person. But one mom would not have this. She was at the front and checked her order and saw the apples inside. She took them out and screamed, what is this s**t? I ordered fries with it, not f***ing apples! My friend said this lady was rather large, and that the cashier was maybe 16 and 5 feet tall and 80 pounds soaking wet. Very tiny and looked like she was about to run and hide. She said Ma'am the apples come with the meal and your fries are in there as well. The lady was not having any of this and went on a tirade about how she wanted fries, not apples, her kids would not eat Motherf***ing apples, she wants a normal order of fries, etc. At this point the tiny cashier was looking terrified. A manager came up and said he would give her a regular small fry for her meals and she could keep the apples. She THREW the apples at him and said I told you I don't want no F***ing apples, my kids ain't gonna eat those things.
My friend was in shock but sadly the story did not surprise me. What did surprise me was that my normally sweet friend that does not say anything bad about anyone at all said that in reality her and her kids needed to skip the fries and eat the apples so she didn't know why she was complaining

Seth said he is getting tired of watching Polar Express but it is cool to go to school in his pajamas.

Poor you. Not my favorite movie at all. I watched it with my parents (and most likely my brother) at my parents' house.
