Surprise, there's actually an update to this. Just got off the phone with them. Again.

Dm's been sick, and hasn't made it in until today. He's also having a storewide meeting to discuss this, since "its not an isolated incident". Knew I wasn't the only one. :P

Anyways, all they did was apologize, swear it "wouldn't happen again", and supposedly are sending me a coupon for a free pizza. I just hope they get their act together. :P

I realize you live in a small town and thus, you probably have limited food options. But why continue calling a place that clearly has issues going on? I love me some PH pizza too, but having worked food service myself, I shudder at what you don't hear about. I wouldn't eat anything prepared there, just saying.

We don't order from there anymore now, lol. Found another local place that is pretty darn good, if with shorter store hours.

Back at competingpizzajoint that I worked at in the late 90's, we had at least one driver who was known for dealing in "extra toppings" along his route, and one or two others whom we suspected of it. Naturally, 60% or better of the drivers at the time were, uh, patrons of such services ~_~

Once in a while I would end up delivering to such a patron who lacked the foresight to air our his apartment before calling us...And thus, the aroma of week-old, stale "toppings" would blast me in the face, full-force, when delivering there. "Month-old unwashed sweat socks" would be a good description of the scent. Yuck.
