The Domicile of Despair (long, epic, get your popcorn)
I hope that the moment you found that folder, you called the cops and informed them of what you'd found. That way, they could come and take the computers and document that the porn belonged to Slumlord before anyone had the chance to try and cover it up.
Either way, I quickly found out, and took screenshots of, the fact that he was sharing illegal porn.
Now, I mean ILLEGAL. He had an entire folder for teenage girls, and another one featuring bestiality.
Did I mention that he's sharing this all publically?
</gleeful cackling and rubbing of hands commence>
BWAHAHAHA!! That reminds me of one of the anecdotes my Computer Forensics teacher related, where the guy kept his stuff in a folder labeled 'Illegal Porn'.
You should have contacted the police again after he accosted you after the party.
You should also have let the University, the police, and the parent company know of all of his retaliatory actions. His actions and his failures to do his job were enough to get you out of your lease(s).
Oh holy hell! I wish I could say that this turn surprises me in the slightest, but the only surprise I can muster is that the idiot wasn't more careful with it. Even that's not much, since jerks like him think they can't be touched...

But, shoulda, woulda, coulda.
Oh, hell yes. Two words: Constructive Eviction.
Landlord makes the place uninhabitable through his/her actions and you're free and clear from paying any kind of termination fee, PLUS if you so choose, can sue the everlovin' pants off of the skeezebucket for backrent for all the months he DID make it unbearable. And in some cases, depending on state, if he refuses to return your security deposit, you can get up to three times the amount back.
Why no, I don't have an odd fascination with People's Court, what makes you say that??
HEY LOOK OVER THERE A DISTRACTION! IT'S SHINY!!!!!
