    True. One of my grandparents' neighbors raised Belgian work horses. Huge horses, some of whom are bigger than Clydesdales, BTW. If you ever head into Amish country, the Belgians likely came from that farm. Anyway, when we'd go hiking in the woods and fields, we were always told not to bug the horses. Most of the time, they'd just ignore us, and keep eating or playing. Some though...well, it was best to leave them alone. They were either young and still a bit 'wild,' or simply didn't like being around people. Mess with them at your own risk, in other words.
