I think Charlemagne had like 5 wives and some concubines, so it is safe to assume that a lot of people can trace their lineage back to him. Kind of like a huge chunk of the population can trace their lineage back to Ghengis Khan because he was a breeding machine.

Charlemagne had eighteen children over the course of his life with eight of his ten known wives or concubines.
He was a VERY busy man. Mind you, this was before even the Church had proscriptions on number of wives and edicts on infidelity.
I'm related to one Lawrence Bathurst, a rich git who helped fund Henry during the Wars of the Roses. The Yorkists caught him after the war and cut off his head.
Bathurst is a one-name study - if you have this name in your family tree, you are related to everyone else who does too.
We've been able to trace a few branches of our tree back to 1611. Though aside from Lawrence and one Baxter Hunt, my first cousin six times removed who was a witness inspector on the Jack the Ripper case, I don't really have anyone particularly famous. ^^

I'm related to Adam, Noah and Jesus.

Did they call the police and report him? If he pulls that "I'M A PRINCE" scam once he'll most likely do it again. He should be arrested and banned - who knows, he might be mentally unfit.
My fantasy response to these self-professed "Prince/ss of [Their] Country" types:
"Yeah? Well, I'm the King of Don't-Give-a-Fuck-istan."
That's awesome!

According to an MIT study, we are all connected by a single common ancestor who lived around 300BC. Not necessarily descended from, but related to. Which makes us all 50th cousins.
My mother does all the lineage stuff and most of our ancestry on her side in the US goes back to New York in the 1800's. My biological father's line actually goes back to pre-colonial Virginia.

Can't wait for the family reunion.
If we're all 50th cousins, then anytime any of us are online together here IS a family reunion.

One of my cousin's wives on my Dad's side traced back our grandmother's (Dad's mother) ancestors . . . trail went back 12 generations to Peregrine White.
