I went to the Bloomsburg Fair yesterday, and these are some of the things I witnessed.
1. At the Horse Pulling contest, I saw a young woman in flip-flops (thong sandals). This fair is an Agricultural Fair (ie: there is a large amount of livestock, especially near the Arena).
2. At the candy game, a woman came up to the booth and said "I only have a $100 bill. Can you break it?"
3. I got a couple of Hot Dogs from a vendor, and promptly dropped them. I said "Aw, crap" and when the lady asked, I told her what happened. She immediately made 2 more hot dogs for me no charge. I thanked her, and asked her how many times people yelled at her for the same sort of thing, she told me that they don't get free hot dogs then.

The fairgrounds cover a large area and include areas with gravel, or grassy areas with lumpy ground underneath, etc. Just thinking about it makes my feet hurt.
