Ahh, I feel sorry for you. Eastleigh must be a nightmare at the moment. As I also live in the "Meridian" area, I've heard a lot about it on Meridian News lately.

Although, I am sure an actual platypus would do a far better job than your previous MP Or most MPs for that matter

Thankfully it's over now, we just have to clean up after the small rainforest trees' worth of leaflets that were dumped on our doormats daily. XP The complaints at the sheer amount of leaflets we got made the news.

All MPs I've met (admitedly few) have been lovely people who don't speak only Legalese and some have even let me hug them. Our last MP!! He was [--> Super De-Fratcherising Machine -->]} an interesting fellow.

Back onto the not so knife-edge topic of curtains, it turns out Ponden Mill is more of a bed linen place. There are some curtains, but I don't think they're really what I'm looking for. I need a pair of lined eyelet curtains to fit a small but rather tall window. C&H quoted me over £200 to have them made; I'm not sure what to do.

A friend was saying that their neighbour knew the UKIP candidate through work, when they came round he said hi and shook his hand - at which point the photographers woke up and descended for a shake by shake replay...
