I hate to stereotype, but it seems to me that certain luxury/sports marques tend to attract some fairly arrogant individuals - and being owners of luxury/sports models, these individuals tend to come equipped with enough money that a typical traffic ticket is just pocket change to them, not even worth fighting in court unless it's a major violation like DUI or an actual accident.
    At least in my state in Aus, every traffic offense earns you a number of demerit points - too many and goodbye license. If it's serious enough, instant license suspension and even car seizure. Three seizures and the car is gone for good, parted out and components sold, chassis crushed. (Though not infront of the driver like in Cali)

      I think most states in the US use points like that, too. I know Desert Hell does, although I don't know about seizing the car. (I'd have to look it up.)
