Ok so, as far as I am aware, a red left arrow, obviously means stop until green, correct?
So you would assume a right-turn red arrow would mean the same right?
Around here in most places, it's ok to turn right on red, as long as the traffic is clear and there's no pedestrians, etc.
I've only seen in two different places a right turn arrow, and both are off exits of highways.
So, once when I was waiting at one, because, you know, it was RED, some person behind me started honking like a maniac and drove around me to turn onto the road. Even though the arrow was red.
Then in the other location it's two lanes turning onto the road with red right-turn arrows, and I've seen people just pull onto the road ignoring the light. Yeah, they're new, but that doesn't mean you ignore them. When they redo roads and put the lines in a different spot you don't ignore the lines.
So, are these people wrong for not waiting at the light, or am I just misinformed about something? It's Florida, so I don't know if that will make any kind of difference or not
