Saw this little gem while driving though downtown *shudder* the other day.
It's a three-lane, one-way road. Little Hatchback is in the far left lane, Big Work Truck is in the center lane, and I'm in the right lane.
As I'm driving, I hear Little Hatchback honk. Then I hear Big Work Truck honk back. I glance in the rearview, and see Little Hatchback slamming on his brakes as Big Work Truck casually drifts into the left lane. He'd almost sideswiped Little Hatchback, and even though he obviously KNEW that car was there (vs. not knowing if the car was in a blind spot), he simply continued to force his way in and even had the audacity to HONK BACK!
I was too far ahead to see if there was a company name on the side of Big Work Truck. I wish I could have gotten that information, so I know which company not to give my business to.

I used to think I knew what merging was, now I really do. It's like a game of chicken except you're both going the same way sans turn signal. Heaven help you if you have the right of way and won't make space, because you WILL be honked at or rammed.
