Hubs and I drove to a local park to go for a run today. When we got back to the car, we did some stretching before we got in. Hubs was carrying the water bottle, and he'd perched it on top of the car while he stretched. Then we hopped in the car and headed home.
We actually got about a half a mile before we heard SLIIIIDE Kathunk! and realized that the water bottle had fallen off the roof of the car. We had to turn around and pick up the bits of shattered plastic off the roadway. Other drivers weren't too happy about the trash, especially the poor guy behind us who had to dodge it!

110-film camera with a zoom lens, very flat except where the lens protrudes, and the wide bit had gotten itself wedged under the edge of the car's roof rack. Freakin' miracle. I still have the camera, although I don't think the flash works anymore.)
