Ok... this happens way too often.
All around our outside yard we have a very high, wooden fence. It has multiple uses;
A) Keep doggies in and safe.
B) Keep doggies from seeing people walking by, freaking out, and causing a doggie riot.
There are signs on the fence that specifically state;
"Please don't peek over the fence, you'll cause our dogs to bark! You are more than welcome to go inside, upstairs, and view their cuteness from above!" - with some happy faces.
It seems like at least once every couple a days I hear a dog bark a warning bark, then a flood of dogs rush the fence, and I spin around to get control of the situation and see some illiterate with their face poking over the fence staring at the dogs.
Of course I wave my hands and say, "Please duck down or back away from the fence, you're upsetting the dogs!"
~Italics are what I was thinking as I simply glared at them~
"Oh I didn't know~!" (You are literally standing right in front of the sign that tells you not to do it, jerk.)
"You should have better control of these dogs!" (Did you notice how I managed to get them all to shut up within 5 seconds? You should learn to read better.)
"I was just trying to check on my dog!" (Wait. You're one of our clients?! We've specifically told you so many times that you need to go to the upstairs viewing room. You have even LESS of an excuse than the "I didn't know" people.)
Of course, you have the people who do apologize and I can forgive them... still a little angry with them but...
There is nothing more frustrating than spending a good two hours wrangling all the dogs into good, quiet behavior only to have it completely undone by one person sticking their face over a fence.
