I always thought that Grandma's would have more experience and knowledge in how to handle children, guess I was wrong.
As I was walking past the front of the store today I walked past two little boys who had found a long bamboo stick (we sell them). I hadn't really noticed them until the stick came inches from my face. I looked down to see the older boy (maybe 4?) grinning mischievously and swinging it at my face. So I asked him if I could have it and he handed it over. Seconds later Grandma finishes paying and says to him "Oh she doesn't want you touching anything, you might break it." Yeah that's why I don't want him waving a big stick at people's faces; he might break it.
