Oh, I get that at the hotel when I tell someone the rate is $74... and they say, well why did you give the person in front of me $42.
1st- they are a regular, I recognize them and remember that their rate is supposed to be $42
2nd- we have negotiated rates for different companies, such as Delta, Skywest, and a few others I won't mention sense we are exclusive for them in Salt Lake.
3rd- he was in his Delta uniform, so even if I didn't recognize him he would be getting the rate without question because, well see number 2.
and 4th- because apparently you're an asshole.

I DEMAND a discount
Okay, since i read a lot of threads where people talk about what arguments they have heard so they MUST give a discount: Let's collect them.
First off: i am in the cool position to give up to 25% discount without asking my boss. We regulary give up to 50% discount, and i can give small stuff away for free(like 1€ buttons to children).
The rule is: the more you buy, the more polite you are, the cheaper it'll be.
But i NEVER, never give a discount "because the last guy got 20% discount too". Well he was only 15, gave me his last change, was polite, bought a gift for his girlfriend and i enjoyed talking to him. You are twice as old, carry a bag full of stuff you bought and i don't HAVE to give you a damn thing.
So, how about it?Tags: None
