My sentiments exactly. It's not like he didn't bring this down on himself: unless he's as dense as a brick, and knowing in general what his words would mean to people -- especially in an airport setting -- he was actually aiming for the terrible response in people's minds that his words did in fact get. He was just hoping that they wouldn't cost him anything. Well, they did; and now, hopefully, he'll be going to a place where CYA has a whole different meaning!
