My wife gets memory lapses when she's had a certain amount of alcohol, with no recollection of events, no matter how embarrassing (which isn't often mind you). She also never has a hangover. Sometimes life just isn't fair.

methinks he might have a mental disorder where he lies to get attention and it's a compulsive thing...i knew quite a few people who will do that...one claimed to be a dragon imprisoned in a human body, another claimed to be the girlfriend of the mob-king...it's amazing what people will lie about to get attention...

That 'lie' is far more common than just your friend. To the point it has become a belief system for many, many people (Otherkin, mostly)...

i know about Otherkin, but this dude (I highly suspect) only assimilated that belief into his lies to get attention...judging by all the other things he lied about.
