it also causes conjunctivitus. My cat has feline herpes which is what caused her blindness.

Of course when I got her and told people what she had I'd always get, "So does that mean you can get herpes?"

One of my kitties also has feline herpes...he lost one eye because of it.

I think I have heard (and told) all the rather dirty feline herpes jokes
