When that first came out, my brother spent almost an hour beating that train. I loaded up my file, went, "Hmmm. Ghost train. Undead. Phoenix Down! " The "death" sequence took longer than the battle. My brother was pissed at me for a week.

(Although that is where I found it, apparently it originates with the Buzzer blog.) The Darth Vader tendency at Translink wins again. Their preference for all new vehicles is “paint it black”.

So, sure enough, right after I got off shift yesterday and headed home, the Phantom Train was gone. No where to be seen. Now I do look insane. I swear it was there. It was REAL. You have to believe me!

Well, I was reserving judgment, but Google tells me that there are articles about the new Skytrain cars going into service, and one has a video that includes a black train with blue and silver at the bottom.

And here's a YouTube vid of the new Skytrain cars, back when they were still covered in black plastic to protect them from the elements and look rather freakish.
