Because, yeah, it's entirely the workers' fault someone held the line up for an hour.

    It baffles me when people go up to a "we make it when you order it" establishment and think that it's ok to just tie everything up for some monstrous order.

    You know for a fact that if they were one of the people made to wait, they'd blow a fuse.

      Even if the management was interested in making money, there are better ways to handle a large order situation where the order in question inconveniences other customers.

      He should have been upfront with how many he wanted and should have ordered ahead.

        The walk-in party orders....ugh not everyone seems to know it's a little more courteous to call ahead.

          Not just that, but he wasted an hour ordering all those sandwiches when he could have ordered ahead, and just spent about ten minutes checking them over before leaving.

            At the pizza place there were idiots who did that. -.- Compare these two methods;

            Sane customer: Rings up an hour before shop opens (Yup, we got there an hour before, to do all the food prep and make the bases), give order at least two hours before you want them, and say when you want them delivered, so we can put time aside to make order.

            Insane customer: Rings up ten minutes before shop closes, throws massive tantrum after being told that it's physically impossible for us to make order, rants about bad customer service.

            Yup, that actually happened. -.- And said douche swore to never ring Relatively Good Pizza again, but broke his promise.
