Ree, you surprise me. Not only are you a member here, you are a moderator. Which means, I imagine, you read more of the posts than the average member.

And yet you are still surprised by the actions of some of these yahoos. My only question to you is.....WHY? Why does any of this really surprise you any more? How is this so unbelievable to you at this point?
Sorry, but I refuse to ever become that jaded.

I have been in customer service for 30 years, and I think I can count on one hand how many truly incredibly sucky customers I have had to deal with. In fact, I think I have posted about only 2 in the past year who acted in a truly sucky manner, making ridiculous demands.

Most of my complaints end up being with coworkers and management.

Nope...I guess I've been fortunate not to have had the numerous unbelievably sucky experiences such as the OP regularly posts about.

    I'm happy with that.
Too tired of living and too tired to end it. What a conundrum.

Ree, I have not had as many SCs as the OP, but I can tell you without question I have had more than you. Working in a bar will do that, I guess. But even if you eliminate the drunk idiots and the ID idiots, I still get a good number of completely sucky assholes each and every week, at least one a week worth mentioning here, and some truly eye-popping ones each month.

But then I have never worked retail, only food service. And I do work in a tourist town. So that may be part of that. I dunno.

Now, where were we? For that matter, where are my pants?

On a tangential note, I hate assholes like the SC in the OP for providing those who are opposed to private gun ownership examples of why regular civilians shouldn't be armed...

(Please note that this isn't about gun control, as that's fratching territory. It's about idiots being used as a demonstration of all people on any particular political stance.)

What the hell is it about your rental properties that....attracts...these creatures. Is your office built on an Indian graveyard or something? ><

Where does these people keep coming from?
It's gotta be something in the water.

Is it just me, or does it seem like people are getting worse with entitlement issues these days?

                1. You wish.

I think it's you. The longer you do this, the more it seems like people are getting worse, but in reality, you are just getting overloaded with its constant stream.

                At least, that's my opinion.
