So I work at wally world yay yay!!

Covering the fitting room on a very slow dull day, I get a couple of girls one of which wants to try on a single pair of jeans.

Now working in the fitting room you get used to looking at what people are trying on and what they are wearing before they go in because you never know who you can and can't trust no matter what age they may be.

The one girl goes in and the other is trying to start a conversation with me, which normally picks up my day a bit, but she's pulling the whole look how silly I look bit throwing on a Colts hat backwards and making a goofy smile . Getting the feeling she's trying to distract me, I make sure to stay by the fitting room door until the girl trying on clothes comes out, rather than folding the table in front of me like I was before.

She comes out, and the jeans she's wearing are very close to the ones she had on before, I'll give her that, but I wait for her to walk away to check in the fitting room and pick up a worn pair of blue jeans with a wallet, drivers license and cell phone in it.

Bet those cost more to replace than the 20$ pair of LEI jeans she took 0.<

The fail is strong with that one. Let us know if she comes back.

So, did LP stop her as she was exiting? I know I'd want to be the person to tell her she was on video and we had her information for the cops.

Wow. Really. Thieves like that try so hard but are really so stupid. I bet she came and asked for it back?

Do they ever try wearing all the clothes out at once? I had a girl once busted because she bent-over in front of the cash register to adjust something in her baby's stroller and the manager saw she was wearing 8-thongs with the tags hanging-out of her pants!

We had an incident where the people were caught because ALL 3 left their wallets behind. 3-people, and not one remembered their wallets! Awesome.

I'm surprised she didn't just stash it in the stroller, under the baby, like most shoplifting parents do.

I've actually never had a multiple underwear theif because I try to enforce the state law that you can't try on underwear. I usually check to make sure people aren't hiding them not only bc I hate theives but also because I wouldn't want to wear underwear after some of the nasty people that shop in Wal-Mart tried it on. I do however get people who obviously weren't wearing a bra when they came in, and stole one to put it on in the fitting room, we aren't allowed to strip them at the store to get our stuff back but the police we have outside can. >.0

Oh and yes they did stop the pant-bandit on her way out. I love it when people like that make a scene. lol

I love being a cashier at wally world most times... how ever it has made me realize that there are some folks that just dont need to breed. My favorites are the thieves that think that the are super secret ninjas and that we dont see them.

Oh, the store didn't let you try on underwear, but they snuck it in under their other fitting-room items. They obviously didn't know that the staff is OC about checking the underwear hangers and not having a single empty one in the store. Ironically, thongs were the biggest theft. Imagine getting arrested over a $2 pair of panties! I love stores the prosecute no matter the amount.

If I were you I would have probably snagged the cash from the wallet before giving it to security. Whose going to believe the theif when she says her money is missing?

Fixed that for ya. Congrats on the sharp eye, hope you at least got a thank you from LP!

But then, that puts you on the same level as her.

I'm not big into going through other people's things, no matter how deserving. I don't know what was in the wallet other than the ID i was hoping for lol. It was a nice phone too though, looked near new, I would have been bummed to lose it.
