As for age ID's, when I was young I looked much younger (to the point of once having a friiend's visiting 15 year old step son hit on me cause he thought his mom had me pick him up at the airport so he could meet me - when in reality, I was just doing a favour for her cause we were friends who's husbands were overseas on the same ship, LOL). I don't recall ever getting upset over being asked for an ID, in fact, I found it terribly amusing to see their faces when they did the addition in their heads, LOL.
There was a commercial, one of those public service things, might have been our state only (and not even sure what state I was living in) that I loved. Showed a woman (jeans, jeans jacket, blonde hair down so you couldn't see her face) pick up a six pack then the clerk asks for her ID. As she hands it over, she pulls her hair back so you can see her better, and she's smiling - the tag line was "Always ask for ID - make some forty-something's day".
