seriously, I got carded once and that was to sign up for my players card... ever since then my players card is practically as good as ID, just throw it down on the table with my money and they don't check to make sure that I'm even the proper card holder, that I'm 21, hell, they'll bring out hard drinks if your sitting at the table... you don't even have to be playing... it's kind of scary actually.

I have been to Wendover. This summer in fact, and the above still doesn't make me want to ever go back.

There's four casinos in that town. Three of them are basically one and the same. If you're not into gambling--and I'm not--you'll be bored very quickly.

I can see 2 possibilities for why New Jersey is listed as the most corrupt state even though some Louisiana residents feel their state deserves the title:
1. Certain officials from LA didn't want their state tagged with that distinction, so they bribed whoever was making the evaluation to move them down the list.
2. Certain officials from NJ wanted the distinction, so they bribed whoever was making the evaluation to put them at the top of the list.

actually, there is five... the Nugget (where I go to), the Red Garter (which is absolute crap), and then the big three, the Peppermill (which is way too dark and smokey), the Rainbow (which hasn't had good table games when I've been there) and the Montego Bay (which is out of my price range).
You're right though, there is absolutely nothing out there to do but gamble.
