Sometimes, there's a customer who's primary purpose seems to be to drive you insane. This woman the other day did just that. -.-
The second it was her turn in the queue, she didn't even wait for me to say hello, she just marched forward and shoved her credit card in the machine. Seeing as I hadn't even asked her what pump she was on, it didn't work.
I asked her to remove her card, she gave a big sigh as if I'd asked her to perform some onerous task, like reprogramme a computer and took her card out. I then asked her what pump she was on.
"Twelve," she said, then shoved her card in again. Rinse, wash, repeat. I then asked her to confirm the price and yup, you'ved guessed it, the card went in. Again.
In fact, she shoved the card in early about five times. She was acting as tho she was in a huge hurry and it was painful even to go thru the motions, but by not waiting for me to do so, she actually made herself later.
One more thing; my collegue Jem finally met The Troll. This is this horrible customer who is always hideously rude to everyone; he at first was just misogynist, but now he's equally rude to men as well as women. I'm waiting for the manager to be in on the day he comes in, so that he can finally be barred for life. -.-
