Kudos to your store for doing something like this, first off.

I can relate to this as well. Back in middle school after 9/11 happened, we started doing a moment of silence over the PA system, which we all observed. But there were always those students who just would not shut the fuck up.

As in, they'd just keep talking, or drum their hands on their desks really loud, or giggle inanely. And they were always the troublemakers who could walk to the office blindfolded. I'm like, jeez, you guys can't stop acting like a-holes after a national disaster? Good grief.

I don't think anyone would have an issue with you 'disturbing' remembrance day...as long as the only sound you made was a loud 'thud' caused by your hand slapping the back of some idiots skull for not shutting the hell up!

I once had a bad cold during a Rememberance silence, and I sneezed a lot. I sneeze really loudly - AaaaAAAACHOOOOOOOO!!!!! - and I instinctively say 'Excuse me' after I get my breath back...yeah I was getting funny looks. *shame*
"...Muhuh? *blink-blink* >_O *roll over* ZZZzzz......"
