Yes. In fact, it would.

I don't keep kosher, but I'm religious and observant in other ways and am not afraid to tell people I'm Jewish (and my nickname kinda gives it away). I also happen not to like most pork.

But I love sausage. And I like a bit of bacon. And good pulled pork is worth it.

I savor most of all, though, the looks on friends' faces when they realize for the first time that I'm eating something made of pig. It is a splendoured thing indeed.

Its fantastic and my favorite way of having bacon. My Mom's made it this way as long as I can remember. Its particularly awesome in a BLT.

I guess it would, it being a fruit - wouldn't it? Isn't the whole point that it is not pork? And fruit are kosher by definition, as far as I know.
