While there is non-pork bacon, no restaurant I have ever visited uses such. So..I am at a loss here. Think she needs to go to a kosher restaurant or deli..or something. Are you saying SC's never going to eat another animal again? What about sausage? What about ham? What about pork chops? To right the countless wrongs of our days... We shine this light of true redemption, that this place may become as paradise...Oh, what a wonderful world such would be...

Don't you know that Ham comes from mines and that Pork Chops come from trees?

Yes. In fact, it would.Quoth dalesys View PostThe critical question is:
Would the fruit of a Bacon Bush be kosher?
I don't keep kosher, but I'm religious and observant in other ways and am not afraid to tell people I'm Jewish (and my nickname kinda gives it away). I also happen not to like most pork.
But I love sausage. And I like a bit of bacon. And good pulled pork is worth it.
I savor most of all, though, the looks on friends' faces when they realize for the first time that I'm eating something made of pig. It is a splendoured thing indeed."If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you."
