I just find it rather funny that she figured if she cursed you off it would solve her problem.

    "F-CK YOU!"

"OK! I'm so sorry, let me get the door for you!"

The police don't like it when people call them for situations in which no laws have been broken. I would've called myself, but not 911--just the local #.
The odd thing is, my local po-po uses 911 as their general number for most things -- I have even looked up the department I wanted to speak to so that I could get them directly (just to report a minor, non-emergency theft that was discovered after the fact), and they (politely) told me to hang up and call 911 instead, and just begin the call with the words "This is a non-emergency call"

That happened to me once too! We have a non-emergency number, and I called for something, I forget what. They told me to call 911. I felt realllly nervous because I wasn't sure they'd believe that I was told by the other number to call 911, but now that I think about it, for all I know it was the same dispatch service on both.

As for the EW, I love the "bad customer service" bit. I'm sure she gets her ass out of work on time every day...probably 10 minutes early.

In our area, the non-emergency dispatch number goes to the same 911 center. The calls on that line are a lower priority however. I have used it on several occasions when I wanted police assistance, but it wasn't an emergency situation.

...so I can waltz in an 10.30, yes? I don't have kids, but maybe I can bring my brother-in-law? He is 26 but can be quite childish if he wants

Closing is bad customer service? Or is it specifically closing AT 10? It'd be fine if you closed, I don't know, at 9.30, but AT 10? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR [expletive deleted] MIND? 10 is the hour in which THE DEVIL closes his shops!

How exactly is "We close at 10 an insult?" *ponders*

Maybe she thinks they are calling her a 10...no wait..that would be a good thing. Then again..SC 'logic', but I doubt that is the case.

Maybe she thinks they are saying she has a 10 iq. Ok..that would be an insult, to everything else that had an actual 10 iq...so maybe .. just maybe ..

Nope, don't get it. Maybe I need to hit myself on the head a couple of times?

Should have told her to go ahead and call the police.
That's what I would have done. I'd have sat there with my iPhone and pulled up one of the books I have and waited.

The ass chewing she'd have gotten from the cop if one responded would have been priceless.

At the very least the look on her face when she was told by the 911 dispatcher that she's being an idiot would have been amusing to me.

Technically, no. Faulty logic that takes in non-existant conditions, as well as misinterpreted variations of actual conditions and returns an answer so warped that an M.C. Escher art piece looks normal by comparison is STILL logic in some form.

It's just a special form of logic that only makes sense when run through the (hopefully) abnormal wiring of the S.C. brain.
