If she claimed that her kids were in the hospital (which by her behavior we all think is bullshit), that's one thing. Obviously she was stalling enough to the point where her "emergency" was not an emergency at all. However, once she threatened an employee, I would have stalled her at the desk anyway before calling the cops. It's better to have the authorities put her in her place, rather than have her run off from her realizing she won't get anywhere with her little scam.Comment

I wonder where the OP lives that all of their customers are so at ease with calling random shop employees names. I've been a lot of places and have never seen anything like this. It seems like all of your sucky customers have something inventive to call you! What a horrible place it must be.Comment

My cousin and his wife had been trying to adopt. I don't know if they were successful. The process involves tons and tons of questionnaires, surveys, meetings with counselors, and other rigamarole, not only for them but also for their parents and other family members. They really want to make sure the child will end up in a good, stable environment.Knowledge is power. Power corrupts. Study hard. Be evil.

I showed this to my stepmother. She and I are BEYOND pissed that anyone like this was even able to adopt to begin with. Two of my sisters, and one of my brothers are adopted, and they're EVERY BIT my siblings as my blood sister. I would have slapped that woman. Whether I was working or not, and then called child services. "Just adopted kids," my ass...
