Is that a Flareon? :S It looks like a Vulpix to me. EDIT: Oh no, there existes a Flareon too...a huge one ^^

Spark, just out of interest, have you ever made a Castform plush? I loves the pokémon too and my Google search is playing up XD

And on topic - maybe a nice big red rubber stamp with CHEAPSKATE on it might be useful. ¬ ¬ Well at least for real-life encounters, silly Songs...

My little Brother and I frequently talk about our ideal Pokemon team, it would be cool to get small plush teams.

        dear ancients people are stupid....

I contacted Kanalah about a custom quilt I wanted made, and the amount of emails back and forth about the nitpick details, between the design, the fabric, the type of batting, the quilting design, colors, details.....I could go on and on....

and she still is only charging me less then $200....not that I'm complaining, but she could of easily charged me more and I wouldn't complain!

I'm waiting with baited breath for its finish and arrival.....cause it'll look AWSOME!

My goodness. People are massively entitled! It takes a long time to handmake something. It can take days for me to make some of my jewelry pieces. I can say that those pieces will never in a million years be sold for some mega-cheap price. I'm not Wal-Mart.

Nope, never have. Although a few official ones exist, no idea how rare they are. http://www.flickr.com/photos/pokeplu...7604030314578/

(The pokemon plush project is rather useful for that kind of thing!)

What kind of rocks do you collect? My part of the Deep South is rich in crinoid fossils, ammonite fossils, and a pretty good amount of fossil shark teeth. As well as generic rocks too.

My favorite thing is polished stone spheres. But I love fossils too! I have a couple of opalized ammonites that are really nice.

Don't get upset about people like the first one you mentioned. It'll just ruin your mood, and benefit no one.

You charge what you decide charge, and since you are able to sell that stuff, with people praising your work, you do not seem to be too expensive.

Anyone suggesting that $YXX is enough to buy $item$ instead of your plush, thus your plushes are too expensive... well, don't hate them; just suggest they buy $item$ instead, and blacklist their adress - no sale, no hassle.

That being said, I admit that I am not above trying to haggle, but at least I try to be friendly and polite about it... after all, if my offer doesn't appear acceptable (or close enough to being acceptable) to the one I haggle with, there's no point in making it, right? If told 'Sorry, the prices are not negotiable', I will not dig any further, though.
                  I still miss my ex.
But my aim is getting better.

I don't mind haggling. But these days nobody has any concept of how to do it. I either get "I'm so sorry, don't hate me, but can I have $teenytiny amount off, don't hate me" which is okay, it just makes me chuckle at how afraid of haggling they are, or I get "Your prices are a rip off, I'll give you $insultingly low amount." Which pisses me off AND baffles me. Why do they feel the need to insult me? Can't they just make their horrible offer without commentary? But I literally have NEVER gotten a very low offer without the person also somehow insulting me. They seem to think they're required to say I'm too expensive and mention some possibly mythical other people who do it for peanuts. In which case I say go hire them then.

It says right on my site that I haggle, but I think people just aren't used to haggling anymore. I've had one or two customers who seem to haggle comfortably, and we always come to some kind of deal, but it's just so darn rare!

Hmm... you might want to reconsider this. Directly stating 'feel free to haggle' equals, in the mind of an SC (and yes, in constrast to popular belief, they can read, they just use this ability rather... selectively) the statement 'My prices include an idiot markup for those who are dumb enough to pay it'.

If people want to assume that, they're perfectly free to. They're also perfectly free to ACTULLY haggle and get a lower price. Or they're perfectly free to tip me extra and get extra stellar service and product. You get what you pay for, and you get what your politeness earns you, from me. Benefits of being my own business, I can do whatever I damn well please.
