      The Final Solution

      Quoth MadMike View Post
Before I got to the end, I knew those girls were going to turn out to be ugly. The ones that go on and on about being pretty usually are.

There was this one girl I used to see at karaoke, who was given the name "Ugly Stick" by the roller derby girls. She was tall and skinny, like a stick, and damn was she ugly! But she was always going on and on about how hot she was, and apparently there was never a shortage of desperate guys who would hang all over her.

I'm not all about appearances, and if she was a nice person but still looked like she did, I might have actually found her attractive. But I knew from vibes I picked up from her, and from what her so-called best friend told me, that she was a user and a manipulator. She was ugly on the inside, and to me, that's the worst kind of ugly there is.

She tried hanging all over me quite a few times, and I just wasn't having it. I'm sure it drove her up a wall knowing there was a guy out there that didn't want her at all. Another time, she made the mistake of trying it with my friend Nikki. Actually, she came up behind her and grabbed her ass.

Nikki doesn't put up with any shit, and she turned around, looked her right in the eye, and told her, "I only let pretty girls grab me like that!"

Ugly Stick looked all hurt, and said, "But I am pretty!"

I'm not sure what posessed me to do this, because I'm normally not confrontational, but I replied, "Yeah, just keep telling yourself that!"

Ugly Stick look absolutely crushed, and went back to her side of the bar and stayed there. She left shortly after that, and we never saw her again. That was almost a year ago.

An 11? Far too low, my friend.

You have to be an 18.

            SW:.......I want a Combo #4 (a mexican pizza and 2 taco supremes)

SW: Well don't guys give discounts to pretty girls?
            Quoth Kristev View Post
No, we don't. But we do have a nice 10.00 $ 'scammer & dumb bunny' fee. You qualify for both! Have a nice day.
Yes we do, and it's funded by our "Ugly Cow" surcharge. That'll be an extra $5.00 for each of you.

From your other posts, it's my understanding that your location is a combined "Toxic Hell" and "Jabba's Pizza", with Jabba's closing at midnight. Have you ever had a situation like this after midnight?

            SC = sucky customer
            Y = you

SC: I'll have a pepperoni pizza
Y: I'm sorry, but Jabba's closes at midnight
SC: Then I'll have a mexican pizza
            Y: That'll be $x.xx
SC: Liar! If Jabba's were closed, then you wouldn't be able to make any kind of pizza. Since you're selling pizza, that means Jabba's must be open. I'll have the pepperoni pizza I asked for in the first place.
Any fool can piss on the floor. It takes a talented SC to shit on the ceiling.

Same here, on both fronts...hubby got me into Doctor Who and I think he really liked Eccleston's style, but I think Tennant is a dreamboat
I agree 100%. David Tennant is sex on legs. (I am such a shameless little fangirl. )

With Eccleston, I didn't get into his season until later on, after becoming a Doctor Who fan (my first episode was Blink. Scary shit! ). When I saw pictures of him I didn't really think much him appearance-wise, but after picking up the DVD and watching him I changed my mind.
There's just something about him that I can't pin my finger on. He's not conventionally attractive, but he has this charm about him that makes him attractive in his own way. (And when he smiles that big, goofy grin of his I can't help but grin too. )

And since Smith was mentioned, I'll say that I find him attractive too, in a geeky sort of way.

And back on topic (sort of) why is it that the ones who yell the loudest about being something positive (good looking, big tippers, etc.) are always the ones who are the complete opposite of what they're claiming to be? Do they think that if they talk loud enough and long enough that people will actually come to believe them and ignore the truth right in front of their eyes?

The reason they yell the loudest is that they're hoping that if they're obnoxious enough, you won't argue with them. Either that, or they're still trying to convince themselves they aren't lying.

I thought Eccleston was hot straight out of the gate. I think Tennant is a bit funny looking, but his charm totally eclipses that.

I haven't actually seen anything with Smith, but just from publicity shots I don't like anything about his face, and really don't like the hair style he has as the Doctor. *shrug*

Eccleston os good looking out of the gate, certainly. Matt Smith is more conventionally good looking. If all you see is a still picture of David Tennant he is pointy [or as a friend of mine said sort of weasely] but when you see him in action his animation changes him to funny, comfortable and charismatic.

Another thing about Tennant...he's Scottish (and my maternal grandparents emigrated from Scotland to the US), and he uses his natural Scots accent when he's not in character... ahhh

OT convo: I just recently got into Dr. Who and I couldn't ever get into Eccleston as the Doctor because I was waiting for him to make a carpentry comment (from Gone in 60 sec...I know, not a great movie but I love it still ) Neither Tennant or Smith are my types but I definitely prefer the Tenth Doctor character to the Eleventh. My SO and BIL on the other hand are all about Matt Smith.

Back on Topic: I can never understand how people can behave like that in public places. My sister does this all the time (not necessarily the "Pretty Girl" part). She tries to make a big scene just to score a freebie. She thinks that she is "beating the system" and makes a game out of it. It has gotten to the point to where I can't go out shopping or to eat with her alone anymore. Where are these people's shame? (I fully believe that my sis wasn't born with any... )

That said, if you asked me which of the three doctors I prefer (Eccleston, Tennant and Smith), my answer would depend on my mood. But it'd be Eccleston or Tennant.
Ah. For me, I think I like Smith the most out of the three of them.

I mean I like 9 and 10 too, and I think 9 should have had more than one season, but.... I like the fact that Smith's Doctor ISN'T trying to get into anyone's pants except his own. I mean sure, technically 9 and 10 didn't try to get into Rose's pants cos... well, frankly if they'd tried, I think her pants would have fallen off in a heartbeat but... I just like the fact that 11 seems to be tailored for kid-appeal rather than romance-appeal.

For me, Matt Smith is much more old-style Doctor. I'm finding him attractive based on his portrayal of the role, rather than his actual appearance - because let's face it, after Tennant he had his work cut out for him being a pin-up.
