Kudos to that 12 year old. I agree. She knows what she wants. Bless you for making a child's dream come true. And to your wisdom in parenting, as well.

i never understood the pageant thing for kids that young, but one thing i can understand, the dresses, pageant or not, i bet they love their dresses, i know my two younger sisters loved their "princess dresses" :P
my eldest younger sister even started designing her own and sowing them around 12 years old, as she got to around 14... they for some reason turned gothic :P she looked like a disney evil stepmom queen! XD
          silly teen years :P

but first customer sounds really boring, it's really bad when you've already started, and they change their mind, i've had that happen while fixing a car, painting a car is a lot of work... suddenly having the customer change their mind on colors.... not so much fun.

Is there any update on how the 12-year-old did in her pageant?

            ^-.-^

It's rather unusual to be able to look at 4 different dresses, like one element of each, and pull all those different elements together into something that looks great. Very often that doesn't work at all.
It is? It doesn't? ...I think I'm missing something here, that's always been kinda easy.

*Clonks head on computer screen* 423...hey-hey-HEY! An Eastern TN number! Man, I've MISSED seeing that area code so much!

hehe, I actually live in NW GA, about 20 minutes away from Chattanooga. We live so far in the boonies they give us a Chattanooga number for my cell phone. And we also live so far in the boonies that the cell phone does not work until I get about 10 minutes away from home, lol

That sounds about right. You ever been to Chester Frost State Park just off Hixson Pike? I used to live there! A customer of mine was there in the past year or so and she told me it went waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay downhill since Nashville had flooded. Was hoping it had cleaned back up by now, I miss it there.

I don't see Dalton on the map (I'll never understand why I keep think Dalton and Dunlap are the same place *Roll eyes*). It's across the river from Harrison Bay, another park I used to camp/live in.

I have been camping at Chester Frost Park and I think we went there for Easter a couple of times as well. And to Fire on High, Dalton is about an hour or more from Chester Frost Park, totally opposite directions from each other They have a lot of pageants in Dalton so we have been there numerous times as well. Unless you were asking if I lived near Dalton, lol. Then yes, I live around 30 minutes away or so, according to how fast I drive
