I suspect something similar is behind a thread I read soon after joining, but couldn't comment on because it was closed. Vinegar Boy probably didn't understand that there was a difference between Malt Vinegar and Malt Liquor.

Yeah, that's what I figure Vinegar Boy was: some dumb kid who thought malt vinegar was a way to get malt liquor without a fake ID. . . a dumb mother who thought her precious little snowflake could do no wrong. . .and spineless management which couldn't say "no" to a customer even under absurd circumstances.
