    You might be surprised. More often than not, I've seen teenage siblings behave more like parents to their little kids (and their parents) than the parents do.
    Customers should always be served . . . to the nearest great white.

      I've had a woman leave her infant up at the front register with me before-just plopped her baby on the counter and walked off to do her shopping, leaving me having to hold the little girl on my hip with one arm (she was too small to sit up on her own, she would have rolled off the counter or anywhere else I put her) and check people out with the other. I wish I could have called a social worker, but by the time they responded she probably would have been gone. My manager saw the whole thing and commented on it, but didn't bother to take the baby so I could do my job while she was doing absolutely nothing. It astonishes me what people do with their children these days. And I'm only twenty-one!
