So I get a call and do my greeting. Hi this is Stars may I have your item #.
Customer states that she wants to add previous order because the last agent said she could and is about to give it to me.
Note: We can't do that, and she didn't need to give me the # because it was her last order, it is right there on top.
So I cut her off at the pass and tell that I can't add it to the order, we do have to place a new order, but any discounts she entitled to will still apply.
"Lady" gets a little snippy and asks if her last order # means nothing to me. I state that I would be happy to go over her last order, but I can't combine them, but any discounts will still apply.
She then gets rude and asks how dare she say that, why would she say that, I am a good customer, how could she do that to me.
Cue me lather, rinse, and repeating again. So I am placing the order and ask if there is anything I can add to the order. To which SC responded "Well since I can't add this item to my other order, no I guess this will be the only thing on this order." I ignore that and move on.
So the order is completed and I then move on to the order she already made. And she wants to completely go over 3 items she ordered 5 mins ago. Then she says...oh what is this #. I wrote it down and forgot about it. It was the # she gave me, the one that she called in to "add to her order" and I told her in my best dead pan, that was the item you just ordered.
What should have been a 2-3 min call turned into a 10 min call because she was sooooo offended that she couldn't add them to the same order. I told her countless times the discount runs all day, it doesn't matter if the items are ordered at the same time or over the whole day.
