I thought I had this posted, but I just remembered the net connection crashed when I tried to post.
Anyway, at the moment, the job has taken my boyfriend & I into Hawaii. Yeah the company is quite mobile like that.
During our off time we can rest and have fun.
And... the Apple store at the Ala Moana mall is apparently typical of Apple - great service.
My boyfriend wanted to get his laptop "fixed". It wasn't exactly broken, but the power button was slightly skewed and it was bugging him. He made a mistake and confused AppleCare (which he has) with ProCare (which he doesn't have). The AppleCare gives him free service for some repairs - including his power button issue - while the ProCare gives head-of-the-line privileges.
Just yesterday he called to see where his computer was in line cos it had been a few days. he was dismayed to see that it was 11th and commented that he was on vacation and wouldn't be here much longer. But... he was always very polite and friendly.
Apple put him at the head of the line and just a few hours later he had his computer back and fixed.
Another reason why I'm glad that I switched to Apple over a year ago.

He fails to catch that most computers will have a problem someday simply because they are not made of magic and pixie dust.
