Just got told this from a relative:
Today, an elderly and increasingly frail member of my family back in Australia was in a shopping centre and went to buy a drink, have some lunch and to just sit down in a cafe
When she went to pay for her lunch - she was told that a stranger had pointed her out and paid for her lunch and then walked away.
So, whoever you are - I want to say thank you - for whatever reason you decided to help a beloved member of my family - your kind act resonates many thousands of kilometres away here in Japan and you helped to restore a bit more faith in those of us who are fast losing their faith.
Thank you, kind stranger.
