Kitchen Nighmares season finale - Chef finally walks
So it's been a while since we've seen anything from Amy. Tonight while reading my Facebook feed, she claims (or Sammy, not sure who) she received threats via private message on Facebook. I know cyber bullying is a bad thing, but the fact is that all the things she's posted over the last few months from the fallout of the show makes everyone who's been reading doubt the authenticity of the messages.
Why does it not surprise me to discover that her hubby was convicted for drug trafficking? >_> Love is blind -- believe me, I know this from experience -- but dayum. Unclear from the article WHY the State Dept is trying to deport him, tho, assuming he's served his time.
but don't forget even on the show her story changed more times than I can recall. First they made *everything* from scratch there. Then they bought some things from other stores. Then it turned out they bought a lot of stuff from other stores.
so really it's not surprising that they can't pick a story and stick with it.
if anything that's often a good sign of someone who lies on a regular basis. when the story changes that frequently, there's something fishy
I just love how they're insisting that they NEVER stole anyone's tips...a few paragraphs before they speak of making sure that they will stop (illegally) confiscating the tips in the first place. Hipocrisy, thy name is Amy. I also noticed that she said Ramsay loved her cakes/pies...which are the one thing she openly admits that they DID NOT MAKE THEMSELVES!
They're trying to reinvent what really happened on the show now. Actually this kinda fits how they behave, sadly.
[Amy] insists that THEY stopped the filming
‘I asked Gordon many times, ‘what’s wrong with the food?’, he wouldn’t tell me. I literally chased him around, saying ‘I know you sent everything back’. He said we would talk about it later, but at no point did he offer any constructive criticism and that was hurtful to me. I had a great deal of respect for him as a chef.
This I believe... somewhat. That she might have chased him around.
And that she actually *believes* that he didn't give any constructive criticism.
He clearly did - on video too - but we all know how well that went down. Like mixing bat-shit-crazy, a flamethrower, and a kerosene spill.
or wait, was this link already discussed? if so... eh sorry for being late on the linkage. meh
‘Now we can only defend Gordon Ramsey, we support him and hope that people are not as quick to judge him and hate on him because of these accusations. Kitchen Nightmares was not doing very well and the ratings were not very strong.
‘Our show was the highest they ever had, it broke all of the records, sot there are no hard feelings to Fox or Gordon. We are upset about the way we were portrayed and edited but we are focusing on our future now.
‘We wish him all the best- and now we’re working on our own reality show so stay tuned!'
Clause #20 could be, depending on how the state decides. Non compete clauses have been found unconscionable if it means that the employee would not be able to practice their career. Based on the way this is written, I'd say that qualifies.
Non-compete clauses are supposed to be a means of keeping a former employee from using proprietary information to benefit a competitor. Other than recipes (and #17 takes care of that), I can't see anything involved with a restaurant that would be proprietary. With a 50 mile radius, #20 basically says that former employees are barred from working in food service in the Phoenix metropolitan area for a year - that would definitely fall into the category of "not being able to practice their career".
Heck, my commute is roughly half that radius - and I have to pay more for auto insurance because I'm over the threshold between "ordinary commuting" and "long-distance commuting".
