In some FATEs, especially the ones where you will literally get every level 50 toon for miles around showing up (read: Odin and Behemoth), you will often encounter an issue where most of the other players' models simply do not show up -- along with the enemy you're trying to kill. If you can't see the enemy, you can't hurt it, and you can't get Gold (which gives you some really nice stuff, especially on those two). Hit the link for a simple fix, and an explanation of how it works.

tl;dr -- disable names over peoples' heads.

Or rather FC ones. I had a FC member who I think is fairly new to the FC tell me and my sister we'd bought our level 30(ish) toons. I brought it up with the FC leader and I'm now on the lower officer rank. They know I've been a guild leader on WoW and I don't rankle easily.

The Titan fight is bloody tricky when you are getting lag spikes like anything even worse when the healer from your guild is insulting you.

From what I read on the FF14 forums, apparently the servers check a players location every 300ms, so you need to be moving WELL in advance if you are up against a boss/mob that has an AoE with a cast timer attached to it. I'm hoping they will change it so that the servers check the positioning of the players more often.
